- 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers 
 - 6 cups  water 
 - 1  inch  ginger peeled (optional)
 - Sugar or honey  to taste 
 
 
     
    
    
        Bring water to a boil then add the dried flowers. Turn off the flame and let steep for 2-4 hours until completely cooled. Strain out flowers and reserve for cooking or discard. Serve.
